A Rose Never to Wilt by Charlotte Morgan Flowers are a gift of great color and smell I’ve arranged so many and I know them so well But there is one that is truly in bloom He is the brightest color in all of the room Thorns will prick and often break the skin Believing in Jesus the healing can begin They thrust for water and need sunlight to live Everlasting life is what he came here to give A rose is many colors and is given for many reasons It is a flower to be offered through all of the seasons Give to him all of your pain and guilt For he truly is a rose never to wilt. My Wedding Day by Charlotte Morgan As I dressed to meet my husband to be I began to pray and got down on one knee Dear Lord, I said as I wondered would I be a good wife Help me to be loving to my husband all of my life I fixed my hair and painted on my face Time was ticking as I saw my dress of lace My nails were done, but my finger bare A ring of gold forever is what I would wear The music sounded and my vial was set I know God was there when our eyes finally met I felt a feeling of peace and love That only comes from our Lord up above We said our vows and then sealed them with a kiss Dating and being alone I knew I would not miss As the ceremony ended and a tear rolled down my face I knew that in life I had finally found my place. For my husband whom I love very much Time To Believe by Charlotte Morgan I have always believed that seeing is believing, but not now I am different these days God's love has shown me how I had lost my way in a world filled with pain But I knew it was time to believe and now it's my greatest gain They say if you can't touch it that it's not real I trust my heart for it tells me how I feel I now have faith and my problems no longer make me grieve I have given God my soul it is finally time to believe The art of love is simply trusting the King With a tune in my heart his praises I softly sing It is the weight of my sin he will gently relieve I am now reborn because I took the time to believe. Morning Mediation Thank You for the dew upon the grass, Thank You for the things that really last; Such as many friendships of the past. Thank You for the squirrel scampering up the tree. Thank You, Father for sharing all this with me. Thank You for the blue of the skies; Thank You for the trusting love reflected In children's eyes. Thank You for the song of the mockingbird, One of the most melodic sounds I have ever heard. Thank You for the flowers and their colors so bright. Thank You for this moment when things seem so right. Father, I know feelings can in a moment flee, But Father, I thank You for these moments when I feel so close to Thee. Brenda Reinert Today's Desire Help me to help brighten someones' day Help me to give encouragement along their way Give me the words to say- that Your love I may convey-- Life's not always easy Sometimes there are storms; sometimes, it's just very breezy. Help me to take time to care, To reflect Your love and ease their despair. Help me always to remember when-- I was the one who needed that special friend. Brenda Reinert My Prayer Forgive me for my selfish prayers And for my needless cares. Forgive me for getting so involved with me, That my heart is not in tune with Thee. Forgive me for my lost vision, My lukewarmness and indecision. Please help me, Father to be strong And to be in Your will where I belong. Brenda Reinert
